Nirav Manubhai — a home on the web

The courtyard: a banyan tree, a stone bench, an open door — Come, Sit. આવો, બેસો.

Welcome to my home.

Rooms for stories, books and a life observed closely.

I have spent decades moving through very different chapters of work — organisations, functions, roles, geographies. A lifelong student of human behaviour, I have honed and polished my gift of observation and intuition — studying the silences, the noise and the outbursts.

Today I follow my passion — working with nature, and writing about what all those chapters have taught me.

My sincere and heartfelt wish is to give — to transmit — in the hope that it helps a fertile mind like yours to do better, to excel, and to bring out its very best.

The host, caught mid-conversation by the mirror at the threshold.

The Rooms

Come in. Look around. Stay as long as you like.

Stories, books, field notes and work observed closely — each kept in its own room. Come in wherever your curiosity pauses. Each room has its own pace. There is no order to follow. The house will still be here when you return.

Or keep walking: the Conversation room is further inside the house.

Conversation — an airy sitting room with three cups of tea, Gujarati savouries and empty chairs ready for an unhurried exchange.

Conversation

If something sparked a thought, the door is open.

This is the sitting room. If something here stayed with you — write to me. A story you noticed, a question, an idea, or a piece of work that might benefit from another chair.

Stories have always travelled by the most intimate means available — from the fireside to the written word, from letter to radio, from radio to the screen, and now to WhatsApp, where real conversations happen today. Some of the stories in this house are written to live there — to be read, shared and discussed the way stories have always travelled.

And if a story stays with you and you think of someone who might need it — gift it. Every story carries a quiet option to send it to someone you care about. That is how stories have always moved — from one person to another, with care.

I read everything. I answer personally, and without hurry.

Before you go

Before you go

I hope something here stayed with you.

Come, Again.

આવજો.

If you are curious about what is happening in my world right now — what I am writing, building and tending — there is this page for that.
